This series, called “Ms. Communication & The Anxious Partner”, explores how an insecure partner (the muscular character) can impact the dynamics of a relationship. It also touches on how the other partner, in this instance “Ms. Communication” (the character with braids), tries to help the partner grow beyond the other’s insecurity, despite resistance.

By the time “Resource Curse” happens, Ms. Communication has warmed up to the partner. So much that she’s willing to share her most valuable resources with him, in the hopes that he grows beyond the insecure place he’s in. However, those insecure feelings prevent the partner from growing beyond that insecure spot. Bewildered, Ms. Communication begins to ponder what to do next.
